They do only one set menu and they execute it well. Bread and butter to start, fresh salad with dressing, steak with fries. Steak is cooked and seasoned well. Staff are helpful and attentive. Relatively comfortable surrounding. Set menu as at 2023 is HKD398 +10%. The price makes sense given the overall experience and location.
Loved the steaks. Beef was very fresh and cooked just right. The fries were too salty. I wish they had an option of salt or no salt with the fries.
The Black Forest cake was delicious despite not having the kirsch.
Servers were attentive despite the restaurant fully booked.
Came here just when dinner time commenced. They were full, we were added the waiting list, fortunately a table didn't arrive so we got theirs after 15 mins or so. Staff were friendly and efficient.
At this place everyone pays $398. You get a basic walnut salad to start with. Then you get a serve of steak, sliced and raised on a presentation tray. They ask you how you want it cooked. There are bottomless fries as well which are tasty. I got my steak medium rare and it was cooked well. It's a passable cut of meat though real carnivores may feel restricted by the complete lack of options. The usual sauces are served and you can ask for mustard. This is really a great place to take people who can't make decisions.
Quality keep the same. No Menu, only one thing to eat - steak! Unlimited French fries with special seasoning. Steak has strong favor, asked for medium rare, not over cooked. Nice place for dinner with friends.
Long time no steak here! Waited 3 frustrated hours for car registration needed a break. Ordered house red, not bad, standard La Vache meal, salad steak & fries…. yum! Salad very fresh can tasted the sweetness of the veggies, fries probably fried with such fat, crunchy not dry, steak, as usual, nice, not too oily like waygu, texture like sirloin , my favourite…. few more glasses of red, frustrations all vanished, only good memories of this place!
An absolutely fantastic experience, top notch service, great ambience, upbeat music and steak and frites to die for.
There is only 1 thing on the menu at 398HKD per person currently, entrecote steak, fries and salad.
The steak was cooked perfectly medium rare, very well seasoned, the beef fat fries are refillable and deadly good.
The house red wine is lovely and the iconic dessert cart is hard to resist.
I went for the lemon meringue pie and it was very good.
Highly recommended.
Nice place to go if you have no idea what to get for lunch/dinner. This place offer all you can eat fries, with steak with decent price. Suggest to book or wait in line a bit earlier as it gets pretty pack very quickly.
The steak is always good here, but the restricted your dining time with this price, too uncomfortable with this restriction.
Simple recipe and they are all tasty, so no worry in what to choose, basically only steak with fries are served.
